The 2024 Annual Club Competitions were held over two days at Elm Bank Conference Centre, Eccles.
The judges for the weekend were Richard Spiers DPAGB, APAGB, HonPAGB, John Cartlidge APAGB, EFIAP/p, BPE5 and Howard Tate MA(Phot), ARPS, APAGB, AFIAP who did an absolutely fantastic job.
During the first day judges scored a total of 801 images from 34 clubs; we opened the competition with nature, and the open category was judged after lunch. SADPS came in 19th and were only two points off a much higher position such was the calibre of the entries.
Day two saw 440 prints overall, from 19 clubs. The day began with the Open Colour category, followed by Nature and last (but not least) Mono. SADPS came out 15th in colour, nature and monochrome so were certainly consistent.
